Second Saturday Foam Roller Class

Held once a month (Second Saturday of each month) 2:30-3:45 at 1250 Isleta Blvd SW in the Dance Room. $15 at the door.  Bring a yoga mat and foam roller if you have them. A limited number will be availbale for loan or purchase day of event. Call or email to reserve your spot. All levels welvome. Learn to safely release deep tension throughout your body, and create a home practice of self care.

Weekly Wednesday All Levels Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Every Wednesday 5:30-6:30 PM. $10 drop-in, or $40 for 5 classes pre-paid. Yoga mats available. Bring a blanket if you tend to get cold. Classical yoga flow sequence, teaching modifications as needed, focus on the breath.

Weekly Senior Yoga

Every Wednesday morning 9:00-10:00 AM 

Gentle stretches, strength work, and breathing exercises, appropriate for all levels. We use both chairs and mats for a variety of exercises to improve strength, circulation, energy, balance, and flexibility. $8 drop-in, or $6 if pre-pay for 5 classes. No expiration date for class cards.

Weekly Qi Gong Classes

Every Wednesday 10:15-11:15 AM. Learn the ancient practice of energy cultivation through slow and powerful movement with breath. Lynne is a certified Qi Gong instructor, passionate about the practice. No experience necessary. $8 drop-in, or $30 for 5 class card pre-paid.

Q: When should I arrive to class?

A: 10 minutes early if it is your 1st class, otherwise 5 minutes early to claim your spot and settle in.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Cash, checks, and credit cards (all types) are all accepted.

Q: What if I have never done this before?

A: No problem. Just let Lynne know about any injuries or problem areas before class. Pay attention during the class to how your body feels, and do not do anything that hurts or just doesn't feel right. Lynne will provide modifications (other options) for you to participate in a safe way.

Q: What should I wear to class?

A: Flexible exercise clothing; something that keeps you warm enough (the room is often quite chilly) to relax. Layers are helpful! It is also recommended to bring a blanket to the foam roller and yoga classes.
